Trying to catch up on life has had me in the office and behind a screen for quite a bit of time. Additionally, we got an email from our local US Embassy telling us that there would be a political opposition rally in the next neighborhood over, so we stayed hunkered down inside while helicopters flew over for part of the day. So, late in the afternoon, we decided to venture out and break the "cabin fever" a bit. Here are some photos Alace and I took of our beachwalk. We're blessed to be just a 5 minute drive from the beach, here in Libreville. We enjoyed some power walking and the scenery.
Remembering the lessons learned from 4 years ago (ROBBERY!), once the sun set, we didn't wait long to leave the beach!
